Hondenschool Goes helps students understand their dogs, with a focus on wellbeing and body language. For years, the school planned classes in Excel. Letting puppy students join throughout the course made that particularly time-consuming.
The school started in 2011 and became independent in 2019 to give its own approach more room. Instructors continue their professional development and combine practical classes with theory, videos and exercises for home. The aim goes beyond completing an exercise: students should understand what their dogs need in everyday life.
Always searching for an available place
Every new registration meant searching spreadsheets for a space. The school would often try to squeeze in another participant, creating extra work alongside teaching.
Participants can see their options
With Aniday, students can check available places and register themselves. The school spends less time juggling the schedule and can work within its capacity more easily. In the interview, this clarity stood out as a major improvement.
The new approach was especially helpful for classes with ongoing enrolment. Previously, the team might try to find room for another student even when a class was full. Now participants see which places are available. That reduces pressure on the schedule and the need to rearrange things for every extra registration.
A fresh start for the admin
The school set up Aniday while temporarily closed during the pandemic, allowing it to start with a fresh schedule. The team appreciated the guidance during the switch and having someone listen when they had questions. Organising classes became easier to manage.
